In 2018, three performers descended on The Marsh for their 1st Annual Marsh Madness Competition. Normally a venue that prides itself on it’s dedication to solo performance, this festival allow groups to enter performances up to 40 minutes in length. Edna Mira Raia, Jeremy Krupp and myself combined our powers over the course of five weeks to create Harsh Sadness, a gameshow of death for people who want to share their saddest stories and seek an audience to help them end their pain. The show opened to a standing room only sold out crowd!!! Our strong piece tied our show at 3rd place, which has earned us an upcoming Marsh Rising performance for November 20, 2019. One night only!
